Last Friday the UruguayLiving staff and dates went to a Nostalgia Night (La Noche de Nostaligia) at a party center at about Kilometer 13 on Ruta 5–it was hosted by one of the major hotels and cost US$50 per person. Considering the price, the provider and the location, everything should have been first class… WRONG!

No red carpet, no walk of fame, no annoying paparazzi, and no outfits that cost more than a house– despite all that we had a good time. The Southron was tastefully dressed in matching green sweatpants and T-shirt, and the couture of the rest of the merrymakers ranged widely.
