As you know, there is an informal expat gathering on Sunday afternoon in Pocitos.

Weather permitting, The Southron and at least several other members of this community will be there for sure this coming Sunday 5 November to Celebrate: the end of US Daylight Saving Time, or the Upcoming End of the US Silly Season on the following Tuesday, or All Saints Day, or the Day of the Dead, or November 4th because it only comes once each year…

If you were to find yourself there around 1PM or so, you could have some good food, and meet some of the nicer people here, which should even make meeting the curmudgeon bearable.
