I will second the suggestion that you consider e-publishing instead of or in addition to publishing a paper book. In my opinion, e-pub is better for everyone. The reader gets to download and read the book immediately (let's hear it for instant gratification!) and it's as near to pure profit as you can get for the author. My goal is to retire from US life a little early and am searching for the right place. Hopefully after visiting Uruguay, it will be the one. I'm not sure I would buy the full text at $50.00 unless my transition your direction was imminent, though I'm sure your efforts are worth that, it's just in this day and age in the US. books aren't that expensive unless it's coffee table art.
