The best lifestyle in the world for the price…
This is the journal of The Southron, an American Emigrant from Florida who has spent the last decade living in the West Indies, former Yugoslavia and Costa Rica. He moved to Montevideo, Uruguay at the end of February 2006...

The Southron’s Guide to Living in Uruguay is within days of completion, and a bad case of “not seeing the forest for the trees” has reared its ugly head–I just realized that I have put NO RESTAURANT recommendations in the book.

Can you imagine that? Me, writing a book without a restaurant list… So I need your help.

To those who are here, or have been here, please write me about your favorite restaurants, with as much contact info as you have, or a website, if they have one, for inclusion in the book.

You can either post a comment here, or email me at southron@UruguayLiving.com. If you would like your name or handle included, please add something like “recommended by …” at the end of your narrative.

Thank you!!!

It may not be in time as we will not be there until April 2007, but we are the Foodies of every place we have visited as we have cooked everything and appreciate a good meal. Always looking for the great bite. As most travelers (not vacationers) know, most of the best places to eat are the little holes in the wall, diamonds in the rough, you encounter. We will make sure to report back regardless.

I can’t wait. How may I order the libro? Please email me the info, thanks!

    >>Ordering will be easy, now I am trying to figure out how to get paid.  Probably Pay Pal sto start with.  We are also talking to a couple of big online resellers.  I hope to have solid answers by the end of this coming week

I would recommend Paypal also Clickbank is great for ebooks. If you want to offer a printed version check out lulu.com, they will print-on-demand for reasonable rates.

Something to say?
