Old Man Winter may be winding down, but he still has a few really nasty barbs to throw our way.

This past weekend I think La Tormenta de la Santa Rosa arrived. It rained, it drizzled, the sun would sneak out just long enough to give you hope for a nice day, and then scurry back behind the clouds. It even hailed for a bit just to prove it could. Not golf ball sized, or even grape sized, more like midget pea sized hail–but enough to remind you that it exists and is not particularly fun.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the wind: it blows, and blows, then it gusts, then it blows some more. It is not strong enough to blow things away, but it is strong enough to penetrate anything less than a couple of layers thick.

The nasty side of Winter here seems to be 4 to 6 weeks long. But compared to having snow, ice, and icy rain, it is something with which I can pretty easily live…

No on the Spring, please God!

I am having a hard time finding a cigar shop or lounge in mont. Are you aware of any?Are they online? Please post or email me anytime. Thanks

I still get mine from Famous Smoke Shop in New York. Anytime anyone is visiting I get them to bring a box along for me.The only place I know of here has a limited quantity and I have not tried them, being pretty much wedded to my Macanudos.http://www.losdominguez.com/catalogo/product_texto/page_cigarros-cigarrillos.htm

A Cuban friend visiting from N.J. located a shop in the old city (Ciudad Vieja) and was quite impressed with the selection of Cuban cigars. Perhaps it was simply finding any Cuban cigars. Los Dominguez is a nice shop known for liquor and a selection of snack foods (copetin)and corporate gifts. They are at the mall.

Something to say?
